If you need to share a presentation, blast music, or reinforce your voice with a microphone, follow these steps from start to finish.

For additional assistance, reach out to your ministry or event staff representative.

1. Presentations

• Connect your computer or smart device to the “Staff” wifi network
• Password will be shared prior to your event
  
• Many of our rooms, including Hall 1 and Hall 2, have a wall control panel. Tap the screen to wake up the panel, then choose “Power On”
  
• On the next screen, choose “Apple TV” for Mac computers and “HDMI” for PC’s
• When wrapping up, hit the wall panel’s Home button and choose “Power Off”

Configuring a Mac:

• Open “screen mirroring” preferences
  
• Select the name of the room you are using (e.g. “Hall 1”)
  
• Enter the code that appears on the TV

Configuring a PC:

• Grab an HDMI cable from the drawer in the black AV box next to the TV
  
• Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the port underneath the TV and the other into your PC
• Enable HDMI screen mirroring in your PC display preferences

2. Microphones

• On the room’s wall panel (located next to the double doors), choose “Power On,” then select the “Audio” tab. Finally, choose “Aux Input.”
  
• When wrapping up, hit the wall panel’s Home button and choose “Power Off”
  

• Open the black AV box next to the TV
  
• Power up the system via the large power switch on the front face of the system
  
• Grab either wireless microphone and turn on by mashing the power button in the middle of the mic
  
• Adjust mic volume ONLY with the red fader on the far right side of the mixer
• Replacement AA batteries are available in the drawer of the black AV box
• Unscrew the middle of the mic to replace batteries
  

3. Mic + Video

If you need to use a microphone and your presentation includes any sort of audio, follow these steps:

• On the wall panel, choose “HDMI” as the video input and “Aux Input” as the audio input

• Plug in a dongle to your laptop
• Connect an HDMI cable between the dongle and the HDMI port under the TV
  
• Connect the USB-C audio dongle from the audio mixer to the dongle
  
• On your computer, enable screen mirroring
  
• For computer audio output, choose “USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter”
• Use the wireless microphone as referenced above
